Lilac-crowned Amazon- Amazona finschi- L= 13 inches (33cm) with a wingspan from seven to eight inches. These birds tend to be shy, but are best known for their even disposition even in adulthood. They tend not to be avid talkers. This bird is commonly found in southwestern Mexico as well as in central western Mexico. Interesting Fact: The average lifespan of the Lilac Crowned Amazon is between 40 and 60 years (depending on care and diet).
